Hi, I’m Abbas and my mission is to help optical practices increase their turnover to become more profitable, giving their owners the time, money and freedom they crave. I run a highly successful optical business, but it hasn’t been without its challenges (see my story below). Today, my business can function without me, so I’m fortunate enough to be able to help optical owners like you take a shortcut to success and avoid making the same mistakes that I did! I know what you’re going through. I know what it’s like to worry about where your next client is going to come from, to fret about putting up prices in fear your clients will leave, and to feel alone in business with no one to turn to for help. The truth is, you’re not alone, and it’s not your fault. Many optical owners are in the same position. I was that person too. Our training may have prepared us to be great optometrists,, but it didn’t teach us the art of managing and growing a busy optical practice…

Having increased my practice turnover to close to a £2million that runs without me for 3 days a week, I now spend my extra time as a business coach to help more optometrists and optical owners like you to become profitable, fulfil their potential and achieve that elusive life/work balance.

Where was I a few years ago

In all honesty, when I started running the practice back in 2015, I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. I made all the mistakes under the sun. I priced too low to win work, I would take on any customer, and I was slow to delegate and build systems, so I ended up running around like a headless chicken trying to do everything under the sun. This led to me being overworked, stressed out and making too many silly mistakes which would eat into my profits. Rather than the business giving me the time and financial freedom to do what I wanted, I was basically in a glorified ‘job’ just working long hours to make enough to pay my bills!
